There are many reasons why kids come running in from outside for mom or dad's help and one of those reasons is to stop insect bite from itching. Right up there with the scrapes and bruises that come with bike riding and playing hard this request may need more attention than first anticipated. The biggest complaint about bug bites is the irritation of the itching so once a child even an adult experiences relief from the itch they may forget they even has the bug bite. There are some other symptoms including hives that parents will want to watch for just to make sure the child does not have an allergic reaction to the bite.
When playing outside many times children do not pay attention to see if there are bees on the ground or on the bushes nearby. However, when they do see a bee or a wasp their reaction may be to swat at the insect. This response will put the insect in defense mode which means the insect may try to sting the child. If a child does get stung by a bee the stinger will have to be removed and the child may experience pain as well as itching. The first request they may have as they run into the house is please stop insect bit from itching.
Other times when children may need help in stopping the itch of an insect bite is when it comes to fleas. Those who have pets in their homes will want to be aware that the fleas the pets may have and bite humans. These bites can cause a great deal amount of itching and irritation. It will be important in fighting flea bites to protect all pets against fleas with flea collars and flea shampoos. Another thing that people will want to do is treat their homes against the fleas and do not allow the pets to sleep on the beds. When a pet that is infested with fleas sleeps on a child's bed that child may be covered in irritating and itching flea bites. So when a child does encounter flea bites they will want to stop insect bite from itching no matter what it may take.
Children love to play until the very last minute of daylight. Because when it gets dark is when many children need to be home by. However during the dusk period is when the mosquitoes come out to play as well. Maybe as the children are playing they may not notice it right off the bat but when they do notice that they have been bitten by a mosquito they will want relief fast. Digging away at the mosquito bite may only make it worse so when a child comes running in asking for help for a bug bite many parents may already know they have been bitten by a mosquito. Most parents already have what they need to provide first aid and even what will be needed to stop the insect bite from itching.
